Video Title / CaptionIf you love chocolate then this is the cake for you! Courtesy of King Arthur Baking we have the Flourless Chocolate Cake Flourless Chocolate Cake Ingredients Cake - 1 cup (170g) semisweet chocolate chips or bittersweet chocolate chips - 8 tablespoons (113g) unsalted butter, room temperature - 314 cup (149g) granulated sugar - 114 teaspoon salt - 1 to 2 teaspoons espresso powder, optional - 1 teaspoon King, Arthur Pure Vanilla Extract, optional - 3 large eges - 112 cup (43g) Dutch-process cocoa Glaze - 1 cup (170g) semisweet chocolate chips or bittersweet chocolate chips - 1/2 cup (113g) heavy cream Instructions: Preheat the oven to 375°F, Lightly grease a metal 8" round cake pan; cut a piece of parchment to fit, presse it, and lay it in the bottom of the pan. See "tips," below. To make the cake: Put the chocolate and butter in a microwave-safe bowl, and heat until the butter is melted and the chips are soft. Stir until the chips melt, reheating briefly if necessary. You can also do this over a burner set at very low heat. Transfer the melted chocolate/butter to a mixing bowl. Stir in the sugar, salt, espresso powder, and vanilla, Espresso enhances chocolate's flavor much as vanilla does; using 1 tesspoon wil simply enhance the flavor, while 2 teaspoons will lend a hint of mocha to the cake. Add the eggs, beating briefly until smooth. Add the cocoa powder, and mix just to combine. Spoon the batter into the prepared pan. Bake the cake for 25 minutes; the top will have formed a thin crust, and it should register at leust 200°F on an instant - read thermometer inserted into its center. Remove it from the oven, and cool it in the pan for 5 minutes. Loosen the edges of the pan with a table knife or nylon spreader, and turn it out onto a serving plate. The top will now be on the bottom; that's fine. Also, the edges will crumble a bit, which is also fine. Allow the cake to cool completely before glazing. To make the glaze: Place the chocolate in a heatproof bowl. Heat the cream until it's not quite at a simmer, but showing fine bubbles around the edge. Pour the cream over the chocolate, stir very briefly to combine, and let rest for 5 minutes. Stir again - at first slowly, then more vigorously - until the chocolate is completely melted and the glaze is smooth. IF any bits of chocolate remain, reheat briefly in the microwave or over a burner, then stir until smooth, Spoon the glaze over the cake, spreading it to drip over the sides a bit. Allow the glaze to set for several hours before serving the cake. Notes: to make this dairy free use shortening in place of butter and your choice of nut milk in place of cows milk. I have used unsweetened almond and soy milk in the past with great success.

A pinch of salt, 1 tsp espresso powder, and 1 tsp vanilla. Whisk in 3 eggs (make sure chocolate mixture is cool), then ½ cup cocoa powder. Creator @jwestlund23: “SPECIAL OCCASION FLOURLESS CHOCOLATE CAKE Whether your special occasion is an adult sleepover with your friends (why I made this) or to treat yoself, i have never failed with this flourless chocolate cake recipe from @King Arthur Baking Ingredients: For the cake: 1. 8 tbsp (1 stick) unsalted butter 2. 1 cup (170g) semi sweet or bittersweet chocolate, I used a mix 3. 3/4 c granulated sugar 4. 1/4 tsp salt 5. 1 tsp vanilla extract 6. 3 eggs 7. 1/2 c cocoa powder (I used @Pernigotti which is AMAZING).

For the ganache: 1. 1 cup (170g) semi sweet or bittersweet chocolate, I used a mix 2. 1/2 c heavy cream Directions: 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F, and line the bottom of an 8 inch round pan with parchment paper 2. Melt butter and chocolate together in a large microwave safe bowl, I start at a minute, then stir and continue to heat at 30 second increments until chocolate is melted 3. To the bowl, add sugar, salt, vanilla and fold together by hand 4. Then, add 3 eggs and beat with a hand or stand mixer until the batter is smooth 5. Fold in cocoa powder until.

Batter is thick and well combined 6. Add batter to lined cake pan, smoothing across the top so that it is an even thickness 7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until a crust has formed on top of cake and a knife or toothpick inserted in the middle comes out mostly clean 8. Let the cake cool at least 10 minutes in the pan and then remove by using a knife to loosen the edges and turning the cake upside down on a large plate; finish cooling completely 9. To make the glaze, heat up chocolate and heavy cream in a microwave safe bowl in 30 second - 1 minutes increments.

Until chocolate is melted and a thick smooth ganache comes together. Pour evenly over your cooled cake 10. Refridgerate the cake until ganache sets, usually a few hours. Then slice and top with your favorite berries!”. As noted by @chefsheldon: “So thickkk and rich”. It’s thin but RICH and dense. ~ ~ ~ What you need: For the cake: • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips • 1/2 cup salted butter • 3/4 cup sugar • 1/4 tsp salt • 1 tsp vanilla (I used Mexican vanilla) • 3 large eggs • 1/2 cup Dutch process cocoa powder For the ganache: • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips • 1/2 cup heavy cream Directions: 1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Grease an 8-Inch round cake pan with butter.

You can also add a piece of parchment to fit the bottom of the pan. Set aside. 2. To make the cake, put the chocolate and butter in a large microwave-safe bowl, and heat until the butter is melted and the chips are soft, about one minute. Stir until the chocolate is melted and the mixture is smooth. If you need to reheat, do for 10 seconds at a time and stir. 3. Add the sugar, salt, and vanilla extract and stir to combine. 4. Add the eggs and stir until smooth. Add the cocoa powder and stir until just combined. Don't over mix. 5. Pour the batter into the.

Greased up pan and bake the cake for 25 minutes or until the cake has a thin crust on the top 6. Let the cake cool on a wire cooling rack for 10 minutes. Loosen the edges of the pan with a butter knife and carefully turn it upside down onto a cake plate or serving plate. The bottom of the cake will now be the top of the cake. Let the cake cool completely. 7. While the cake is cooling, make the chocolate ganache. Combine the chocolate and cream in a medium microwave-safe bowl, and heat until chocolate is melted. Start with 30 seconds and check it. It might.

Take longer, it just depends on your microwave. I ended up doing 2 minutes. Remove from the microwave, and stir until the the chocolate melts and the mixture is smooth. 8. Spread the chocolate ganache glaze evenly over the cooled cake and down the sides. Let the glaze set for a few hours before cutting and serving the cake. I always put it in the refrigerator to speed up the process. 9. Cut the cake into slices and serve!”. As noted by @japan_reels: “Can Dogs Eat Candy Video”.
