Job Description

What You Will Do

• Support the organization in improving the efficiency of its business processes by identifying opportunities to enhance existing systems, and recommend new IT software projects and initiatives based on user requirements. This position shall be directly reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, and shall work closely with the IT Technical Services Group and third party development consultants.

You shall be expected to:

Drive the development and implementation of IT projects through:

• Management of outsource relationship of 3rd party application development and programming consultants
• Active involvement in the design phase of any new IT software development projects
• Assistance to network administrator with application installation and testing
• Programming tasks for some in-house IT projects
• Database administration in live and test environments
• Assistance in documentation of technical procedures for the applications including operations, user guide, etc.

Provide reliable support to business users by:

• Investigating, troubleshooting, and resolving in-house systems and application functionality-related issues with close coordination with the IT Technical Services team.
• Providing assistance and advice to business users in the effective use of applications and information technology and in resolving IT software issues
• Providing support in resolving data integrity issues encountered in the systems.

Job Requirements:

• To qualify for the position, aspiring candidates must meet the following requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Programming, or any related course in a reputable university
• Minimum of three (3) years technical experience with programming, systems networking, databases, web development and user support
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in programming on Microsoft AX ERP System
• Good working knowledge on the following: C#, .NET Applications, MS-SQL
• Strong project management and analytical / problem-solving skills
• Experience in the development and implementation of standards, procedures and guidelines to support operational processes
• Proven ability to be flexible and to work hard, both independently and in a team environment
• Excellent English oral and written communication skills.
