Job Description

Join Anritsu Philippines as a Software Engineer working on software and firmware technologies used in cellular communications testing. The team develops a software-based cellular base-station simulator used to test smartphones and cellular chipsets.

The role provides exposure to 5G NR and 4G LTE technologies while working within global engineering teams across the Philippines, United Kingdom, India and Japan.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement software and firmware according to technical requirements
  • Study international 3GPP and 5G telecommunications specifications
  • Translate telecommunications specifications into working source code
  • Perform unit, integration and system testing with debugging
  • Investigate and resolve issues found in released software or firmware
  • Respond to technical inquiries related to software and firmware
  • Manage assigned development tasks within designated projects

Qualifications

  • Degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
  • Programming knowledge and experience in C/C++
  • Knowledge of digital signal processing
  • Understanding of wireless communications or telecommunications networks
  • Experience with embedded systems or low-level programming environments
  • Knowledge of OOP, Git/SVN, Linux, Agile or Scrum is an advantage
  • Familiarity with 4G/LTE or 5G NR standards is an advantage
