They became even more popular after appearing in the 2001 romantic comedy “Serendipity” (which we haven’t seen yet, but it is on our list! We feel like it is probably a must-watch for Upper East Siders. If you have seen it- what did you think?) They are famous for their record-breaking special menu prices such as their “Foot Long Haute Dog” and the “World’s Most Expensive Fries” (these must be ordered in advance). Otherwise, their menu prices are pretty typical for popular NYC spots ($20-$30 for an entree) We finally tried their famous Frrrozen Hot Chocolate, and honestly, we totally get the hype.
