Heat a cast iron pan, when you see the pan beginning to smoke add in a little oil and then the steak. Cook for two minutes a side. Then remove and set aside. Using the same pan, add in one yellow onion, and your sliced mushrooms. Saute for 2 to 3 minutes then add salt, pepper and butter. Sauté for another 2 to 3 minutes. Then add mushrooms and onions to the top of your steak. 🔥
