Microtel Inns & Suites (Pilipinas), Inc. (MISPI) and Microtel Development Corporation (MDC) are the hospitality companies of PHINMA.
MISPI is the Philippine master franchise holder of Microtel by Wyndham®, an international chain of limited service hotels with 300+ properties worldwide. Wyndham Hotel Group is the world’s largest hotel company with 7,700 hotels and approximately 668,500 rooms in 71 countries under 15 hotel brands. MDC manages all the Microtels in the Philippines and is a joint venture partner in several Microtels.
Microtel by Wyndham® pioneered the no-frills hotel concept in the country that targets the mid-market. Its approach is back-to-basics and focuses on providing consistently clean, comfortable and secure accommodations at value rates. The Microtel brand standards also dictate that all hotels shall be new construction only, so Microtel offers freshness and newness that travelers appreciate. MISPI and MDC envision a network of Microtels nationwide, with strong presence in Metro Manila and key regional hubs and resort locations. Currently, there are 13 Microtel by Wyndham® hotels located in Acropolis QC, Baguio, Batangas, Boracay, Cabanatuan, Cavite, Davao, General Santos, Mall of Asia, Puerto Princesa, South Forbes (near Nuvali, Sta. Rosa) Tarlac and UP Technohub QC.
