IMPERIAL HOMES CORPORATION (“Company”) is a closely held corporation engaged primarily in the development of modern leisure villages, middle-market and affordable housing projects. The scope of the Company’s present activities include investing in land for housing development, the development of land it had previously acquired for settlement, and the construction and sale of the housing units. The Company was registered with the SEC on September 16, 1983. The Company was founded by the late chairman, Atty. Gregorio S. Imperial, Jr. and Ms. Emma M. Imperial, currently the group Chairman and CEO.
Since its inception, the Company has completed and sold more than 12,000 housing units in 16 housing projects in the Calabarzon, Albay, Camarines Sur, Camarines Norte, Sorsogon, and Catanduanes.
The Company’s real estate development expertise boosts of its partnerships with premier housing institutions and real estate development companies in the country. Armed with a mission to build communities even in the most remote municipalities in the Bicol Region, it entered into a joint venture with the Home Insurance Guaranty Corporation (HIGC) and successfully revitalized HIGC’s acquired assets in the said region. In 1992, it expanded into the Calabarzon area and also built the Imperial Royal Townhomes in BF Resort, Las Piñas. In 1995, a milestone was reached in the Company’s property in Silang, Cavite. The Company successfully partnered with Laguna Properties Holding, Inc., then the mid-density housing subsidiary of Ayala Land, Inc. and the Ayala Foundation to supply the 2,200 socialized housing units. The project, known as Buklod Bahayan, is a comprehensive model for building socialized housing communities nationwide. As one of the country’s steadfast proponents of socialized housing, the Company also built 1,000 Pag-ibig City Homes in partnership with Pag-ibig Fund.
