ASSISTCO Energy & Industrial Corporation initially started distributing products of Jardine Davies and Edward J. Nell ion the Philippines until 1979. It was in this year also that ASSISTCO became the exclusive distributor of Thermal Ceramics products (formerly Babcock & Wilcox). These are for the refractory materials and insulating products.
In 1984, the company entered into an agreement with Thermal Ceramics, Inc. to be the exclusive manufacturing licensee of refractory castables in the Philippines. Aside from the refractories, the company also carries the insulating products of Thermal Ceramics such as the Kaowool ceramic fibers and insulating fire brick.
In 1990, the company likewise entered into an agreement to become the exclusive manufacturing licensee of Coastal Refractories, USA in the Philippines.
The company also became the exclusive distributor of mechanical seals from ACUMEN SEALS LTD., UK in 2003. These consist of a full product range from single spring seals up to more engineered cartridge seals.
The company has also set up a complete pump and seal repair facility at its premises. This has allowed our personnel to offer pump repair and seal refurbishing for whatever brand and model of mechanical seal and pumps. This service gives our customers the option for a more cost effective maintenance program.
Aside from this, the company is also a category “AA” rated construction company by the Philippine Contractors Board (PCAB). The company is also into mechanical design, metal fabrication works and electrical works.
ASSISTCO’s head office, working and manufacturing facilities are located at 1st Avenue corner Antonio Drive, Bagumbayan, Taguig City. It has branches in Bacolod, Cebu, Cagayan de Oro, Leyte and Davao.
